Nielsen Social Change Grant

In Spring 2024, while I was an undergraduate student at Lewis & Clark College, I was honored to receive the Nielsen Social Change Innovation Grant, which supports student-led projects that drive meaningful change in the community. I used this opportunity to expand the reach of the Holistic Wellness Initiative (HWI) and deepen its presence within the Inquiry for Justice program. With this grant, I was able to bring more of my vision for youth-centered holistic wellness to life, developing curriculum, strengthening partnerships, and building a stronger foundation for the long-term sustainability of the initiative. It was a pivotal step in turning a grassroots idea into a lasting, community-rooted movement for healing and empowerment. I would like to express gratitude to the Nielson family and the center for Social Change for granting me the Nielsen Social Change Grant. This generous support has not only funded my project focused on social change but has also been a catalyst for my personal and professional growth. The opportunity to pursue my vision in such a meaningful way has inspired me deeply, and I am truly grateful for the faith you have shown in the power of positive change and for your support
